God and Family. My Two Precious Things.

Two weeks ago today, on April 31st, I had the opportunity to eat dinner with my partners, Monica Kline, Anthony Lizzi, and Charles Smith.

Monica and Anthony brought us to Mastro’s.

This was the most high end restaurant I’d ever been to.

There was a live singer that didn’t sound live (she almost sounded as good as my wife).

The steak was the best I’d ever had. I could tell just by cutting it with my knife it was going to be amazing. It came with bone marrow butter that was house made that evening.

The mac and cheese was to die for (literally, I could have died). It was the best I’d ever had.

Lastly, the truffle oil mushrooms were mouthwatering.

But all of the food paled in comparison to two things:

1. In a call earlier that day, Monica had focused completely on family and legacy. Making sure my family was taken care of. It was such a precious experience for me.

2. After the food had arrived, Monica asked if we should pray over it. Anthony offered a prayer.

Later that evening I called my wife and told her I was in the right place. Everything felt good. And it wasn’t because of the steak or the mac and cheese.

Monica, Anthony, and Charles were focused on the two things I care for the most:

1. God

2. Family

And they were revving to serve our clients with every ounce of their being.

To make each of our clients a massive amount of money (200K was the minimum target!).
