Yesterday I Build a Voicebot!

Yesterday I built an AI voicebot!

I researched 3 different softwares. Identified the one that looked the most promising (Synthflow). Jumped through multiple hoops and got it all setup!

Chatii, my voicebot, can

1. call you,

2. give you information on my products,

3. qualify you for my services, and

4. book a call for you using my calendar

It was a lot of fun to build, and people have told me it sounds amazing, references my work incredibly well, and is just an amazing piece of software.

This is just the start of the AI assistant boom.

These voice assistants are going to get cheaper, and as they do, they will become more prevalent in our daily life.

Imagine, turning Siri or Cortana into an actually useful tool that can understand a complex array of tasks and execute them on your behalf:

1. Order pizza

2. Schedule a time to meet with the doctor

3. Fill in the form with your information (do your taxes?!)

I can’t imagine where we will be in the next 5 years.

The speed of progress and development is absolutely insane!
